By this I dont mean NPC's dont worry. My nation, and I'm sure others, fear attacks and would have an area surrounding their border where nobody can settle. I mentioned I'll send Vent a map with mine but besides that for diplomacy purposes there should be somewhere, maybe add an island in the area inbetween the continents, with a demilitarized radius to hold a council area with representatives from all the nations. Also any other non aggression zones or no settling zones can be added for whatever the reason. Thanks, Raijin

To be frank, I'm not going to leave areas of the map blank just to make people comfortable. It is too restrictive. If you want a DMZ or depopulated zone, it must come from either your RP gains in conflict or entirely from your own territory.
Edit: I'm not trying to be mean, just fair and practical. Of course, the IC thread you've made holds sway by virtue of being IC: nations may officially react, and it may be the source of an RP situation if someone does indeed settle near you.

Thats what I thought haha, it won't be official then but I'll make a factbook with the area considered as aggresion But I still like the idea of a neutral demilitarized zone for discussion and people escaping from war. Could also be a source of RP

Tell you what, just to make the little IC thread more interesting, I'll place a colony on your border. Just a small one. Could add context to the Ventalian reaction to what The Raijinshi demand.

Actually wait a second for that though; I'll send you my geography map so you can place it reasonably not like blocking the main entrance by accident

Go right ahead - there's still some time left before I get home and update the map.
