Mh well I do think the south should be hot while the north cold and the central a mix. What does everyone else think
I can't really suggest anything for the main land because my nation is on an island and in my factbook I already gave a geographical layout of the land

I aswell will be on the north side, that of the western continent. I too believe that it would be most sensible that it gets colder the higher north.

I think so. I feel like the western continent would be home to much more tropical, and arid climates than the eastern one. Perhaps the interior could be dominated by vast plains and desert. The bottom half (Around you Alpsol) having more of a Mediterranean feel to. The west, or east being covered in vast jungles and rainforests. While the Eastern continent would be more cold, with lots of Taiga, and varied deciduous and evergreen forests.

As for climate, I was pretty much thinking along the lines that the north is generally colder than the south. I'm actually somewhat against an east-west distinction, if only because that really narrows what kind of nation can exist where.
Each nation should be able to determine realistic micro-climates while respecting their north-south position. So, for example, Ventalia could justifiably have some kind of small desert locked in a mountain valley, but The Northern Kingdoms probably could not.

Githoniel is largely desert in the interior, with some slight scrub on the coastline. Its island holdings are mostly volcanic. It's hot and dry. :3
